Fertilizers alone cannot provide all the nutrients and maintain soil microbial balance , similarly, no biological solution by itself maintain balance or provide nutrients without a nutrient source. It is also recognized that many chemicals and fertilizers commonly applied to manage turf conditions disrupt and destroy the natural microbial population in the soil. This being said, it is apparent that a good fertilization program should include a sound biological basis from which it will work.
The soil is the ‘stomach” of the plants and should contain the necessary biology to digest or “chelate” the minerals to make them available to the plant in a form that is easily utilized for growth. This microbial system can be referred to as “soil life”. Living organisms that make all nutrients exchangeable to our plants. Therefore, if microbes are required to make nutrients available to plants, it stands to reason they should be the first consideration of an effective fertilization program.
Soil Microbes break down fertilizers in a highly systematic manner. No one bacterium or fungus accomplishes the task alone. Earth'sBalance Microbes are targeted to do individual tasks and work synergistically together. To be effective, a microbial system has to be complementary to each other to accomplish the desired results.
Follow Nature's Rhythm
DRENCH Microbes are targeted to help loosen and oxygenate the soil, to allow greater moisture retention, helping reduce the watering requirements.
THATCH Microbes are essential to help break down the mat and thatch and return it to the soil, enhancing its ability to form soil aggregates and improve humus content.
ENERGIZE Microbes will help release many of the nutrients that have been tied up in the soil and will help cleanse the soil of toxic chemicals.
STRENGTH Microbes will help trans locate nutrients efficiently throughout the plant, helping it become stronger and more capable of fighting stress caused diseases.
